What is Soccer Stars!?

This is a title that might seem far removed from modern football games and with good reason. This is a simulation of tabletop soccer first and foremost. You flick your players around and score goals by bashing them into the ball and ricocheting it into the opponent's net. It has decent AI for offline play but the online mode is where you will find most of the challenge. While it may lack some of the fancy graphics of higher end titles, if you ever enjoyed table top football as a child, you'll find something special here.

For a free download you could go much further wrong. The gameplay is solid and addictive and while it's easy to grasp the basics, there's room for mastery. While the offline play can get a bit samey, facing off against real world opponents in online provides a meaty and consistent challenge.
